On a trip to duochrome-ville

So, I got some new colors today (what's new lol) so I decided to redo my nails.  I brought Wet n Wild Megalast "On a Trip". It is a beautiful purple color that is very opaque! I really like even though it's a little darker on the nails than it is in the bottle. I also used Wet n Wild Color Icon "Speak when Spoken To" which is a gorgeous duo chrome from the Bejeweled Collection. It consists of very small multi colored glitters on a silver/purple/blue base. It is a gorgeous color and I love how I don't have to be in light to see it change!!!

I had to use the camera on my phone to capture the true color of the purple. It really is hard to catch the color of Speak when Spoken too. So I used both of these and came up with this

Matter of fact,now that I think about it,this color looks a lot Amethyst by Sinful Colors. The glitter is beautiful! Anytime you look at it can see silver, purple,blue,turquoise & sometimes a hint of pink. Just yummy!

Here you can see a little of that purple base.These pics don't do either of these colors justice at all. I cannot wait to see this color in the sun! We have had so much rain lately. So I amnot sure if my nails will even look like this when the sun returns. Either way,I will be using this color again soon. After seeing the beauty of this glitter,I went back to CVS to check out the other colors a little closer and they were all gone :( I shoulda snagged all of them when I had the chance :/

Dot,dot,dot! Not a lot!

Okay,today I did the foil method to get the glitter of my hands! I am so thankful to whoever came up with that! The glitter came off soooooooo easy.  I decided to give one of my Spoiled colors a try! First i wanna say that I LOVE the spoiled colors! They are gorgeous and inexpensive too. The downfall is the brushes are so huge :(   Not only are the brushes HUGE but they are also taper. It is really weird.  Because of this, I am not sure that I wanna get anymore of the colors.

Okay,so this color is called Tip Your Waitress. I love the names! It is a gorgeous,neon pink!

I love this color. I decided that I would use my homemade dotting tool (a bobby pin) and do some dots. I used Spoiled "Permission To Proceed" and Sinful Colors"Innocent".  Side Note: Innocent stains the crap out of your nails *yuck*

Yeah,some of my dots suck. I still love it though! *Adds real dotting tool to my shopping list :)* Anywho,this is the cast of colors that I used

I have boring nails....

Okay, I'm tired as ever but,I wanted to paint my nails because they were chipping. So I decided to try Ice Queen by Sally Hansen.

See,absolutely boring lol. You have to layer Ice Queen. This is about 4 coats! I would do it over tonight,but I know how hard it's gonna be to get the glitter off before I can even start over. Glitter removal sucks,but I do think I know what color would make the glitter pop.

Spring has sprung

So I had to say goodbye to Dorothy  Who because my nails were chipped so bad :(  Anyway, I decided to use a couple of my new colors for a nice spring look. They are both from Sinful Colors,Innocent and Timbleberry. I brought them at the same time cause when I saw them,I knew they would look great together!

I love how "springy" these colors are lol. Innocent (the green polish) was opaque with one coat but really streaky. Timbleberry was pretty opaque as well,but it looks even more beautiful with two coats.

China Glaze Dorothy Who?

I finally got around to trying one of my many new colors,Dorothy Who by China Glaze

I like it,but it does not look the same on the nails as it does in the bottle. I really wanted that dark blue color :( It is more like a teal color. This is two coats. I think I could achieve the bottle color with one more coat.

It's still pretty though!

I found it really hard to catch the true color of the polish with my camera.It is really pretty and has a lot of glitter in it. Kinda reminds me of a very starry night! I cannot wait to see it in the sun! Hopefully,the sun comes out before I change my polish again lol!

These shoes are EVERYTHING! I love them and can't wait to wear them! The name is Amber and the color is Lavendar Lace! I love purple so much,so when I saw these I was immediately in love!! I got these for $28.80 plus shipping!

Stars, Hearts & Glitters

I brought some polish today *surprise,surprise* These are by Kleancolors and when I saw them,I had to get them! Too cute! Heart glitter & star glitter oh my!!  With the the size of the stars and hearts in these bottles, I knew it would be hard to get them on my nails. Not only that,but with the Twinkly Love(far right) it is especially hard to get the hearts on the brush and out the bottle without it rubbing off the brush and back into the bottle. <---- Did that make sense lol. These will be great for layering though!

Until I took these pics,I had no idea that I brought all of these polishes this week! WOW,I really have a problem,lol. OK,first up the glitters...

That Spoiled color is very vibrant,pretty much a neon color. The camera is not picking up the true color of it at all. Maybe I will do swatches soon! I have not tried any of the colors at all except for "Permission to Proceed". Matter of fact,I have naked nails right now*yikes* Seems there is not enough hours in the day since the time change :/

Shoes, Glorious Shoes.......

So I am also addicted to beautiful HIGH heels!!! I ordered these awhile ago and have yet to wear them.  I am waiting to put together the perfect outfit to match them! They are too beautiful to just be thrown together with some mediocre outfit :D

Anyway, they are by Cupid who makes lots & lots of gorgeous shoes. The are satin and the color is nude. The style or name of these are "Onyxs"  I wish they had a cuter name,but I will think of something lol. I ordered them for around $24.95,very reasonable.

They are 4.95 inches tall and the platform is 1.25". I promise these shoes are comfortable! The platform helps so much. My mom insists that heels this high have to hurt,but that platform helps to level out the foot!

Spring is here.....

So the weather has been perfect this week! Gorgeous SPRING weather,so I wanted to do a spring  like nail design. I originally was gonna do my nails to match my shower curtain,which I love so,so,much but it didn't work out like i wanted. So ladybug it is!

Sorry about that vicious glare :(  I know ladybugs don't have silver spots but I love the color combo. ***Random Fact*** I actually don't even like ladybugs lol! So it's weird for me to have this on my nails. Matter of fact,I am scared of ladybugs long, long, story.

For this,I used Sinful Colors "Sugar Sugar" which is a gorgeous red. The silver color is by Spoiled and it's called "Daddy's Credit Card". The black is Pure Ice "Black Rage"!

Nail look for today,well actually I did this last night!

I literally cannot go a full two days without changing my nails. Crazy! Totally addicted! Well,addicted & the fact that my polish is always chipping :(   Anyway,I decided to use two colors Sinful Colors Amethyst and Grecian Sun.  They are both new to my collection,but I 've had the Grecian Sun for awhile.

Both colors are lovely and I only needed one coat which I loved!!

I have to make sure I start using my camera instead of my phone to take pics. So they will be nice & clear! Thats all for now!!

Confetti Nails

Ok,so I am loving my water marbled/polka dot nails! I do have the urge to change them though lol. I really wanna try some other colors now! That techinique is so creative! Anyway, here are my nails from a couple of days ago. I named it "Confetti Cake"!

I used Sinful Colors Tokyo colors & Milani Gems. The Milani has HUGE glitter hexagons in it! It was a pain in the you know what to get off! 

And also the colors that started it all. The colors that started me back painting my nails like crazy Sinful Colors Daddy's Girl,which has a little bit of glitter in it alreadybut it looks great layered  with Sinful Colors Frenzy!!! Frenzy is absolutely GORGEOUS

The sparkles dont show up well in the pic,but it really is a beautiful color!

A little water marbling.....

So last night I decided to use a couple of my new colors and I came up with a cute combo which I named Confetti Cake. Cute! Pics a little later. Today I decided I would try to do a water marble design. I decided to only do two nails on each hands cause this was sorta tedious and I kept smudging :/ Well, it turned out beautiful!!! I kinda smudged while waiting for them to dry,but they still look cute!!

So everytime I go in a store,I have to check out the polish aisle. Hey,the first step is admitting you have a problem lol.  Here is what I got today

In love with Spitfire.....

So, i've still been rocking the Pure Ice Spit Fire!This color is AMAZING!! Maybe even my (dare I say it) favorite color at the moment. I tried to get a good pic of it,while in the sunlight just so you guys could see the sparkle in it. It looks like diamonds with a rose gold tint! LOVE it!

I love this glitter. Unfortunately because I am a polish addict,I got more colors today that I am dying to try out :) So,spitfire will be removed tonight :/

So I removed the Dream On and used just the Spitfire! Amazing!

Love them both,just not together

Ok,so my nails are done and I really dont like the way they turned out. Maybe it's the color combo. Yeah,it has to be the color combo because I really love them both seperately! Im gonna redo my nails though. I didnt even clean the extra polish from around my nails where I fudged. Either way it's coming off tomorrow. However,I will show pics still.

I used Sinful Colors "Dream On" LOVE that color. It'a a beautiful magenta and it pretty much looks the same way on your nails as it does in the bottle. As shiny as it is in the bottle, it dries matte! I used a top coat to give it some shine. Really pretty

Then I decided to layer the Dream On with Pure Ice Spit Fire. SpitFire is gorgeous in the bottle. In the sun it's just like having diamonds on your nails!  If you lightly brush your nail,it leaves TONS of glitter. I didn't like the overall look of these colors together. Although I do love,love,love the Dream On and I love the big iridescent flakes in the Spitfire!
